I started Futility Studios as a way to feed my passion for vintage vehicles when I couldn't actually be in the garage working on one. I work almost exclusively with vintage car and motorcycle parts and industrial equipment and turn them into functional art for the home.

The name, Futility Studios, came from a fortune cookie I received that read "One day you will realize how futile your life really is."

The artistic goal of Futility Studios is partly to showcase the art behind industrial design, but also to make these objects functional again, in a new way. Perhaps my most important goal is to allow elements of the garage into the house without the grime.

Each piece is unique and built based on what I find, but custom orders and requests will be considered. If you're interested in purchasing a Futility Studios piece, some are available on my Etsy site.
